The signing at Peter Snell’s shop, Barton’s Bookshop, in Leatherhead went brilliantly. After a slow start – we’d only sold three copies up to 1pm – things really picked up. Along came eleven more buyers and by about 4.30 we’d sold 14 altogether.
So many thanks to the people of Leatherhead! The population is only about 9000 so about one in 500 of the population bought one. If you work this out for the whole of the country, I’d sell a good 100,000. That’s what best sellers are all about!
Thanks also to you, Peter and to Cameron, Peter’s right hand man.
