Tea with the author!

I’m so pleased that the Friends of West Barnes Library, Motspur Park, in the London Borough of Merton have invited me to present ”The Harpist of Madrid” at an event at the library on 6th October. They’ve sent out a flyer which says:

Dear library supporter, you are invited to…

Why not read local author Gordon Thomas’s book before coming to this free event at West Barnes Library on Saturday, 6 October, at 3pm? Signed copies are available now at the reduced price of £7.50 from Theresa Clarke. Call 020 8336 2852 or email theresa392@btinternet.com.

Alternatively, just come along and listen to Gordon present a few readings from the book and reveal how he came to write it. Copies can also be bought on the day. Refreshments will be provided.

This promises to be a fascinating and popular event – presented by the Friends of West Barnes Library. It would be appreciated if you could let the library know beforehand if you intend to come so the organisers can get an idea of numbers. Call 020 8274 5789 or email westbarnes.library@merton.gov.uk.

Please tell or forward this to friends, neighbours or relatives who you think might be interested.

I can’t thank the Friends of the Library enough for sponsoring this event, especially Theresa, my main contact there. Do come along and support us! I’d love to meet you there and sign a copy of my book for you!

  1. I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your site. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Excellent work!

  2. I blog frequently and I genuinely appreciate your information. Your article has truly peaked my interest. I am going to take a note of your site and keep checking for new information about once per week. I opted in for your RSS feed as well.
